SURGERY AND RECOVERY
These fur-babies need your help to pay for their surgeries. You can virtually adopt one, virturally foster one, or just help out with their medical expenses. After the end of each story you will have an opportunity to help each one. In return for your help you will receive a PAWtograped certificate from the greatful dog and a picture with your name under it as a sponsor. You will also have an option to have your name listed on our website under the dog's picture.
ANDY was a stray from Buffalo County WI. He was picked up after wandering around the city park for three days. Andy needed more medical attention than the shelter could afford, so he was released to our rescue. The first order of business was to get a bath and haircut. Then he was neutered. On July 1st had both of his eye glands repaired most often it is called cherry eye.
We continue to pay for his eye surgery repair. His bill is still not paid in full. THANK YOU Cynthia for your recent donation!
Update:Andy's eyes have healed and he is enjoying life in his new ho
me in Eden Prairie MN. Andy also attends obedience classes and is progressing very well. Congratulations to Andy and his new life.
This is one happy camper at the cabin by the lake. Surgery has done wonders for this little guy's looks and personality.

Melodie came to us from a breeder in IA. She had a hernia (see picture ar left) so large the veterinarian was amazed that Melodie had survived having babies. Her first surgery cost $150.00 and the repair is not holding. The next surgery will cost $250.00

Levi is in renal failure. He eats special foods and is monitored 24 hours a day by his foster Mom. He has medical tests costing $50.00 every other month. Starsky had cherry eye surgery, also. His bill came to over $400.00 to repair the cherry eye. He is in the process of healing and just turned 16 weeks old the day of his surgery.
